First International Medical equipment and services exhibition at Chittagong from April 1

An international medical equipment and services exhibition - CHIMEXPO-2005 is going to be held at Engineering Institute, organised by Triune Exhibition and Event Management Services (TEEMS). State Minister for Civil Aviation and Tourism Mir Mohammad Nasiruddin is expected to inaugurate the exhibition on Thursday at 10 am . Saifuzzaman Chowdhury, President of Chittagong Chamber and Commerce and Industries and Jasim Uddin Chowdhury, publisher, Dauinik Purbakone will be the special guest. Mr. Kazi Wahidul Alam, Chairman, Triune Exhibition & Event Management Services informed these at a press finference, held at the Chittagong press club on March 28.

GMG Airlines, the only private airline of Bangladesh and Phuket Air of Thailand has come forward to act as co-organisers of this Exhibition.

He said, a good number of leading medical equipment and service providers from Singapore , Thailand , India as well as Bangladesh are participating in this fair.

Kazi Wahidul Alam said, three days exhibition will be open for public during April 1 to 3, 2005 from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. without break.

A seminar on Advanced Healthcare Treatments is also going to be held during the exhibition. Eminent specialists from Singapore will participate in the seminar. The seminar will also be open for the general public.

Kazi Wahidul Alam praised the roles of the print and electronic media in raising awareness about the present day development of health care and services of the country and abroad.

He said but for their cooperation such event can not be successful. He sought all out cooperation from the media to make the Chimexpo-2005 successful.

The press conference was addressed among others by Mr. M. Haideruzzaman, Managing Director of Phuket Air GSA in Bangladesh and Mr. Erfan Haque, Deputy General Manager of GMG Airlines.
